DescriptionThe ideal choice to stoke out dedicated wavekiters, the 2019 Naish Slash delivers unmatched drift, a wide wind range and quicker reaction time.
The leading edge bladder has been further tapered through the wingtip, creating an even smaller diameter for improved turning speed and response. Providing incredible low-end power and the best down-the-line drift in the Naish line, the bar pressure has also been slightly decreased to help fight fatigue and keep kiters on the water even longer.
Known for its outstanding drift and consistent pull, the next generation of the Slash features subtle modifications for improved all-around performance. A smaller leading edge and tapered wing tip delivers faster turning—a helpful feature for quick reactions in waves.
The swept wing tip delivers unmatched drifting ability, light bar pressure and quick relaunch. Perfectly balanced, the bridles and geometry are tuned to produce an incredibly stable shape and intuitive performance.
The Shark Teeth Trailing edge enhances durability, lightens and balances the kite overall and further supports faster turns by providing better torque transfer from the leading edge to the trailing edge.
The addition of 11 m and 12 m sizes mean you can now ride in lighter winds and start perfecting those strapless airs. Constructed with Quad-Tex - a revolutionary new 4x-reinforced ripstop that is 30% stronger and stiffer than any other kite canopy material on the market, the Slash is, easily, one of the strongest kites around.
Intuitive, durable, dynamic the Naish Slash puts you in control to rip the most out of your session.
Taking this sought-after C-kite to the next level, the addition of the Quad-Tex canopy makes the Torch practically indestructible. Already engineered for solid control and handling in strong winds, the addition of Quad-Tex’s 4x-reinforced ripstop and perfectly balanced weave matrix—testing 30% stronger and stiffer than any other around heightens the stability and responsiveness of the Slash design. The pinnacle of freestyle performance just became stronger and more accessible; time to experience the pure precision of the Slash.
Strategically placed triangular swaths work with Quad-Tex to reduce weight on the kite while minimizing and dispersing canopy flutter.

Having flown these for some time now, I can confirm the hype! Performance when you want it with a smooth manageable kite when you don't!
These kites do everything - surf, freestyle, big airs, handles gusty conditions and when you do drop it out of the sky - easy relaunch.
In essence the Park is a Naish Torch with the wing tips cut off so when you pull the bar in for big airs or unhooked, the profile turns into a Torch!
I have had the 12m out from 12 knots and the 8m in 50 knots plus! The beauty of these kites is that a complete novice can even take these kites out to learn on with the let-go safety and easy relaunch.
If you want a kite to grow into as you progress, don't disregard the Park! It's a great kite with the ability to grow with you as you progress with the added benefit of long or short lines giving the kite great versatility for any side of the sport. Buy one and you won't be disappointed!
These kites are awesome! I had tried a number of different brands over the previous two years. Out of the several top brands I tried, these were by far the best. I was after a solid freeride kite that I can do everything on and this kite just delivers on all levels. They fly and turn very quick and have lots and lots of power!
I am 16 stone and can fly the 10m from 15 knots up to 30 and the 7 from 25 to whatever my nerve will let me, but have been out in 50+ gusts and been fine. Oh and they are very light on the bar, which is something I love as i can stay out longer before the arms have had it.
I bought the 2012 when they came out last Aug/Sept and well definitely be replacing them with new Parks in 2013.
