What happens when I buy a gift voucher?
We’ll acknowledge your order and send the gift voucher email to the lucky recipient. The voucher won’t activate for a further 48 hours, in order to allow us to follow fraud checking procedures.
Can you send the gift voucher to the recipient for me?
Sure, no problem. Just specify the email address you’d like us to send it to and we’ll send it straight there. The recipient must have an email address and a valid credit/debit card in order to open a Powerkiteshop account and redeem the voucher.
I’ve ordered a gift voucher but it hasn’t been sent yet, what should I do?
You need to allow 24 hours for delivery of gift vouchers. If it still hasn’t been received after 24 hours, please ask the recipient to check their email spam folder. If it’s not here, please let us know on info@powerkiteshop.com and we’ll investigate.
What’s the balance on my gift voucher?
When you enter the voucher code at the checkout, the balance will be displayed before you choose to redeem it.
You can also apply your gift voucher code or check it's status in the box below, which will redirect you to the shopping cart if you already have items in your cart.
How long is my gift voucher valid for?
Gift vouchers are valid for one year (365 days) from the date of purchase.
Do I have to spend my gift voucher all at once?
No, if there is any unspent balance left after making your purchase you will be able to redeem it against a future purchase. Please make sure you redeem any unspent balance before your gift voucher expires (365 days from purchase), vouchers cannot be extended.
If I want to book something more expensive, can I use my gift voucher as part-payment?
Sure, no problem. You can settle the balance using a credit or debit card.
I’m having problems redeeming my gift voucher, what should I do?
Firstly, check that your gift voucher has been activated and has not expired. Secondly, check that you’ve followed the right steps to redeem your gift voucher. If you’re still having problems then please send us an email to info@powerkiteshop.com with as much detail as possible so that we can investigate.
Do I need to register a credit or debit card with you in order to redeem my gift voucher?
Yes, you will need to register your card details with us for identity verification reasons.
Will my card be charged if I’m redeeming a gift voucher?
Not if the value of your gift voucher meets the value of the items you are ordering. The only time we would debit your card is if you are using your gift voucher as part-payment.
I’ve lost my gift voucher, can I replace it?
No. You should treat your gift voucher as if it were cash. Once it is in your possession it is your responsibility to keep it securely.
Can I cancel my gift voucher and get a refund?
Sorry but gift vouchers are non-changeable and non-refundable.
Can I have the vouchers sent to myself, as I want to give them as a gift?
Absolutely, you can send the vouchers to your own email address so you can either print them off, or send them on at your discretion.
Can more than one voucher be spent at a time?
Yes, if you’d like to purchase more than one voucher they can either be spent separately or all at the same time. Complete details of your first voucher order and add it to your basket. Go back to the voucher purchase page, complete details of your second voucher order and add it to your basket. Repeat until you have up to four vouchers in your basket, then continue to checkout to complete your order.
What if I need more than four gift vouchers?
No problem, simply place another order to achieve the desired total value.

Items must be returned with a returns form enclosed by Recorded delivery and clearly marked for the attention of the Mail Order Dept.
