Site Assessment, Theory and Practice, Safety Equipment Set-up, pre checks, use and managment of line system, power kites and buggy. Flying and Buggy Techniques, emergency procedures.

ACHIEVEMENT:Recognised as a power kiter and buggier with knowledge of safety and flying procedure. Level 1 & 2 are recognised as initial BKSA (British Kite Surfing Association) Modules.

It's really not as hard as it looks, if you receive formal tuition from a recognised centre. Previous boarding or sailing experience will accelerate the learning curve, but even without it 'kite control' & 'body dragging' techniques only require a sense of adventure.

2 @ 4 hr sessions

Swim 25m, Physically fit for a water based environment, a sense of adventure.

Equipment intro, Safety rules, Flying principles, Take off, Using Safety systems, Body dragging.


Pre flying check, Solo take off, Duo landing & Solo landing, Body dragging, Water start, First tacks.

ACHIEVEMENT:Recognised as a kiteboarder with knowledge of safety & flying procedures. Capable of attempting water starts & kiteboarding short runs in a controlled manner. Having the knowledge & practical ability to practice with others.
