The new 2011 offers a new outline, deck profile
and Twin Channels, for more edging capability, consistent
load with flex control, excellent upwind drive, and insane
pop. With a weight reduction of 0.5 lbs (110g), the Misfit
is designed by Tony Logosz and Slingshot's top PKRA riders,
Andy Yates and Eric Volpe.
The Slingshot Misfit 2011 is now built with
Slingshot's proprietary FRT* core construction delivering
insane responsiveness, grip and massive pop! The Crossover
Misfit twin tip has unforgiving characteristics like massive
pop, drive, power and hook up any freestyle rider will appreciate.
The Misfit rides smoothly through chop without
spray, and offers the most versatility in all conditions.
Exclusive innovations include Radio Active POP Core, SingleShot
Fusion Sidewall, Resin X, Fastrack and Custom Culture Graphics.
The addition of the full wood core and step
down side wall construction also adds to maximize strength
and overall durability.
Radio Active Pop:
Made in Slingshot's own wood shop with “100% Columbian
Gold”. It has the highest compression response ever
used in a kiteboard. It has half the glue weight and absorbs
less resin weight. The entire core offers great power, optimum
stability, smooth flex and great pop.
Bio Sensor:
Uses a more subtle vertical lamination and machining process
to give the core more feel, stability, and forgiveness in
all conditions.
Fastrack:
Slingshot’s proven proprietary mounting
system offering endless stance options and a superior rider
to board connection. Another industry first!

manufacturing process.
No plastic top sheet material. Slingshot has
made a commitment to eliminate plastic top skins made from

Single Shot Fusion
Rail:
Slingshot now use the same technology found in skateboard
wheels, to the rail of their boards. This industry first for
kiteboards improves the overall dampening of the board and
