Description
For 2008 the Shinn range has been completely
re-modeled starting with a new 3-D top mould. In an effort
to increase the versatility of the range even more Nobile
have used a 3 step design that increases the flex over the
whole nose and tail areas of the board. The effect of this
is to provide faster and smoother turns whilst maintaining
a super smooth feeling in the water no matter how difficult
the conditions.
Changing the mould allowed us to redesign
the composite core build to allow high flex in the tips but
also increased flex response speeds (the speed the board returns
to it's normal position after flexing) making the board soft
and comfortable to ride but still lively without losing any
of it's high performance characteristics.
Next, Nobile modified the outline to further straighten the
centre sections between your feet (the area working to enhance
board tracking and grip) and create a smoother evolution into
the curved nose and tail areas of the board, the areas responsible
for carving and control in difficult conditions.
To further enhance the unique character of the Shinn range
for 2008 Nobile have added a synthetic leather finish, it
doesn't change the performance but it certainly helps the
way the board looks!
Being an advanced rider doesn't mean you have to specialize
in wakestyle. If your looking for a board that planes fast,
turns hard and makes the most out of the widest range of conditions
then this might be the board for you.
Who is the board designed for:
Nobile have improved the control to the point where larger
boards are not only possible but also great fun to ride. Only
a year ago a board of 42cm's wide seemed impossiblly big but
if you're a heavier rider or like to ride with less power
than others you need to try one out to see just how much control
it offers.
Integrated Footbed
System: For 2008 Nobile introduce the Integrated
Footbed System increasing both comfort and functionality for
the rider.
Simply select your stance and screw them in, no other assembly
is necessary even the screws come ready in the pad. Gone is
the difficult and consuming task of trying to compress the
pad to fit the screws as is the risk of crossing threads and
ruining the board before you even get to ride it!
Building the pad and strap together into one unit has allowed
Nobile to completely eliminate twist at the fixation point;
a major source of discomfort when riding.
Conventional straps are higned on one side for adjustment.
The geometry of the strap fits the average size foot well
but the bigger and smaller feet are left to suffer. Adjusting
the size to it's extreme forces the form fitted sections into
the wrong position in relation to your foot.
The vertical adjustment in our new system
ensures that the strap fits into the correct position no matter
what the size and shape of your foot without having to resort
to using a screw driver.

High Wind Performer! Mark Washington
This is a great high wind board - release off the rail and
you are going higher than you have ever gone.
The finish is so unique and is easy to grip
and keep hold of in the water.
The footstraps and bindings are really comfortable
and fit really well. If power is nothing without control then
you need these!
If you are looking for a high wind performing
kiteboard with no holding back and you want to look good posing
on the beach - this is the board that is going do it!
