Inspired by Nobile’s most tech advanced models, this board is a versatile all-rounder that offers an unmatched price to performance ratio. Designed for progress and fun, the NBL is a perfect machine for those who want to push their riding skills to next level.

 

The Nobile NBL is a board with fantastic early planing and excellent upwind characteristics, along with supreme comfort and durability. Modern twin-tip design with advanced flex control and great performance.

 

Many brands selling kiteboards at a lower end of the price scale utilize old, out of date technology. The NBL range includes many of the features found on much higher priced ranges to create, what Nobile believe, to be the best value for money on the market today.

The core of these boards is 100% full wood core, giving fast flex response, low vibration, outstanding durability and remarkably low weight and when combined with the 3D mould, thats been designed to allow extreme flex in the tip areas, gives a range of boards that are early planing and fast upwind yet remain extremely easy to use and above all forgiving of mistakes.

 

The Human Concept - Dynamic Asymmetrical Outline:
You can’t escape the fact that kite-boarding stances are not symmetrical; can you ride the same on your toe side and heel side edges? If not, then you have to ask yourself why your board has the same outline and fin position on the heel side and toe side edges.

Nobile’s Dynamic Asymmetrical Outline is designed around their Human Concept, performance that is destined to enhance and work in harmony with your natural physiology, not fight against it.

Nobile have tailored the outline on your stronger heel side rail to have more grip, better upwind performance and maximum POP. On the weaker toe side, Nobile have increased the curve radius and bought the fins closer to your feet improving the carving potential and comfort factor of the board when riding switch whilst at the same time radically decreasing the foot pressure needed to hold your edge.

3D Top Mould:
By fine tuning the mould for different sizes - Nobile have managed to both simplify the range with less sizes but still provide a model for riders of all weights and ability levels.

 

Elliptical Progressive Concave:
Elliptical Progressive Concave combines the added advantages of both the flat bottomed board and the concave shape. The tail area of the board is flat allowing increased flex for comfort and smooth turning whilst the centre section of the board has up to 5mm of concave providing earlier planing, extra rail grip and a smoother ride.

 

Full Wood Core:
Wood is one of the best materials available for building kiteboard cores. Used on it's own, a wood core offers reliable performance, superb strength, and reasonable weight.

 

UV Resistant Foils:
Having the best performing board on the market won't prevent disappointment if the colours start to fade after 6 months use. Nobile's UV resistant foils ensure your board will look as good in six month's as the day it came out of the wrapper.

 

IFS Pro or IFS Pro KISS Binding System?:

With the Nobile Integrated Footbed Pro System, simply select your stance and screw them in, no other assembly is necessary even the screws come ready in the pad. Gone is the difficult and consuming task of trying to compress the pad to fit the screws as is the risk of crossing threads and ruining the board before you even get to ride it!

Building the pad and strap together into one unit has allowed Nobile to completely eliminate twist at the fixation point; a major source of discomfort when riding.

 

The Nobile Integrated Footbed Pro KISS System also has the multiple position mounting system, so you can choose the angle that suits you best, but also unique, built-in shock-absorber for even more comfort on landings. With each layer becoming progressively harder, the shock absorbing qualities of the pad “ramp up” through it’s depth, preventing any possibility of your foot hitting the board, whilst still delivering a firm surface that gives a direct feeling of the board when riding.

 

Comfort without function isn't enough however, especially if your foot slips out on the first landing. The ergonomically formed IFS PRO KISS features an in-board cant leading from the heel down to the toe, ensuring that upon impact, your foot moves more securely into the strap, and not dangerously out of it.

 

Nobile G-10 Fins:

Nobile fins are 55mm and molded in high visibility orange to help in finding the board after wipeouts.

Nobile Fin Shims: No matter how carefully you ride, anyone can have an accidental contact with the beach or other solid objects. As well as ruining a good session, the resulting damage and / or fin loss can be frustrating. Nobile's new Fin Shims distribute the load placed on the heads of the screws, across the wider surface of the deck of the board, protecting your board from damage in all but the most

extreme situations. For 2011, Nobile have increased the length of the fin screws, ensuring deeper penetration into the G-10fins, reducing the chance of fin loss, or damage even further.

Ultimate Lightwind board! Gary Elwood

This is the first board I have bought but after riding my friends boards - I chose the NBL for its cool looks, lightwind ability and it just seems to get up and planing without a problem!

 

I can see me progressing with this board really quickly and I hope to being doing jumps with this board in no time.

 

It absorbs the turns and cuts through the little waves that have had me off my board in the past.

 

The footstraps are comfortable and the grab handle is perfect for keeping a hold on my board while walking back up the beach.

Overall - this is a great board for people who are starting out and are progressing quickly in the sport!
