The Slingshot 2010 5’0”Arcane,
a trunk style board designed for kiting lightwind and swell,
surfing behind a boat, and traditional surfing in mushy 5ft
waves.
This high volume nose and tailtrunk board
features progressive innovations such as wing swallow, double
to single concave rolled entry bottom, ‘down’
rails, and a single concave deck which give this high volume
board a sensitive rail to rail vibe which translate to a very
lively feel and turns it into an ollie champ.
The Slingshot ARCANE performs in lightwind and in wind swell
with ease. The thickness, ultra concave deck, and width give
extreme paddle power and stability for surfing for a five
footer and light wind performance for kiting.
The steep rails and neutral wide point give
it incredible drive while the rocker give the ARCANE great
speed.
The Slingshot Arcane also comes with custom
fin options for maximum versatility!
Option 1: 2.5"
Quad fin set up, stock. Easiest to ride and stable.
Option 2: 2.5"
Twin fin set up, variation using stock fins. "Skatier"
and easier for learning spins.
Option 3:
4.5" and 2.5" combination set up. 4.5" fins
are after market SLINGSHOT surf specific fins. Ideal surf
set up, more hook up, speed and solid feel. This is what you
want for SURF.
The Slingshot Arcane also comes with surf
style traction pads for front and rear traction or can be
ridden with just traditional surf wax!
