Description

The Scrub Taurus overall board weight of just 6.8 kg and a short 90cm composite construction deck, makes it a top level kite board designed to take your kiteboarding to the next level!

 

The Scrub Taurus also has a brand new skate truck system. The Flow Truck incorporates a kingpin, which helps to eliminate speed wobble, while not affecting the turning radius of the board. Complete with hollow 12mm axle diameter trucks and more durable 12mm channel truck style mountain board bearings.

 

The use of a 12mm axle offers increased strength resulting in a board that is stronger whilst still retaining the light weight benefits of a skate style mountain board truck assembly.

 

At 90cm long, the composite deck is extremely manoeuvrable. 8" Scrub lightweight tyres are fitted as standard, and feature an open tread pattern that clears ground debris easily, combined with a smooth, narrow central ridge that increases high speed stability and lateral forces against the kite.

 

New and improved Scrub velcro comfort bindings offer a more secure fit for increased comfort and performance.

 

The 7mm thick highly flexible and durable composite deck is very light and gives superb performance with a very manoeuvrable ride.

My perfect board! Ian Cotton

This is it for me! My perfect board! Its about a mid range length board so is nice and stable and yet allows me to do all of my tricks as well as getting up to a good speed without any problems!

 

The deck looks cool - the trucks are easy to maintain and the footstraps are nice and comfy! The grab handle is also nice and rigid which is great for carrying it around and I would guess is also good for board-offs - but I am not there yet!

The board appears to be maintenance free and was nice and easy to setup. I got myself one of the Scrub board bags also which keeps it all tidy and your car free of sand!
