Description

The Scrub Monashee takes all the great features from the Scrub Akashi Mountain Board, then adding a custom grab handle, lighter 12mm flow trucks and lighter weight tyres, the Scrub Monashee Mountain Board is a great value freestyle mountain board and kite board for junior or adult use.

 

The new Scrub Monashee uses a composite wood / epoxy deck, for better flex and pop. This makes the Scrub Monashee a fantastic freestyle / cruising / kite board, as well as being a great downhill mountain board.

 

The Scrub Monashee also has a brand new skate truck system. The Flow Truck incorporates a kingpin, which helps to eliminate speed wobble, while not affecting the turning radius of the board. Complete with hollow 12mm axle diameter trucks and more durable 12mm channel truck style mountain board bearings.

 

The use of a 12mm axle offers increased strength resulting in a board that is stronger whilst still retaining the light weight benefits of a skate style mountain board truck assembly.

 

At 90cm long, the composite wood / epoxy deck is extremely manoeuvrable. 8" Scrub lightweight tyres are fitted as standard, and feature an open tread pattern that clears ground debris easily, combined with a smooth, narrow central ridge that increases high speed stability and lateral forces against the kite.

 

New and improved Scrub velcro comfort bindings offer a more secure fit for increased comfort and performance.
