The Ozone Flow is a kite for anyone who is looking for an entry into traction kiting sports such as buggy or landboarding or for the more experienced flyer who wants a good all round kite with easy flying characteristics, super stable and plenty of performance.
It is supremely easy to use with mountains of performance to get you moving in a buggy, on a land board or just getting dragged along in the sand.
It has a higher aspect ratio than the Ozone Cult range which means a faster turn and it is quicker through the air therefore generating more power per size.
The Ozone Flow is available in 4 sizes from 2.0 metres squared to 5.0 metres, which covers a huge wind range enabling you to get out kiting in almost all conditions.
Design Features:
Closed Cell Leading Edge:
Closed cell leading edge with mesh for clean air intake and extra strength.
Internal diagonal rib structure:
Reduces
bridles helping to eliminate line drag distortion and manifests
in a true feel for the interaction of kite with wind.
Optimized profile:
For power, speed and stability.
Internal diagonal rib structure:
Reduces
bridles helping to eliminate line drag distortion and manifests
in a true feel for the interaction of kite with wind.
Auto-stable wing curvature:
Equals rock solid
all-conditions performance so pilot concentration remains
unbroken.
Wing tip dirt-outs:
Linked to internal trailing
edge sand-channels prevents any sand or debris from being
trapped in the kite.
Hand-checked Ozone factory construction:
Utilizing highest grade Oztex 40d ripstop
nylon fabric and pre-stretched
dyneema control line throughout. This translates to the kite flying in lighter
winds and a greater wind speed to power generated ratio
and as the kite
can penetrate the window deeper the up wind ability is
superb. The stability is kept even with less bridling
by the use of
Diagonal-Rib construction, a method of strengthening
the kite from inside to enable less support from the bridles.
Mylar Edged:
Aerodynamics tells us that the leading edge and the trailing
edge are the two most critical lines in an aerofoil section.
Ozone kites are Mylar taped on the leading edge, giving
a more rigid structure, a clean and efficient aerofoil,
and absolutely zero stretching. The Mylar tape effectively
locks the sail shape, meaning your kite keeps it’s
factory trim. For the trailing edge Ozone roll the seam
twice and stitch to give a soft and clean exit for the
airflow.
Double Stitched:
Ozone Flow kites are double-needle stitched, which is stronger
and more durable than single line stitching in the event
of the kite being dragged over rough ground. Even the thread
used for stitching the lines and sail is UV-bonded, further
adding to the strength and life-span of our kites. Every
seam is checked to within 0.5 mm; a look at the colour-scheme
accuracy and the inside of the seams of our kites will
highlight this fact.
Bridle Lines:
Ozone's aim when designing the bridle lines is to use the least amount of line possible, to minimise parasitic drag through the air, resulting in a more performant kite. Kite design has advanced to the point where the accuracy and diameter of the line lengths is vitally important. To achieve this accuracy, Ozone use the highest quality Dyneema lines which are stitch finished for extra strength and less drag.
Attachment Tabs:
The Ozone Flow's attachment tabs are sewn deep into the reinforcement area
of the ribs, which means that the load is spread over a larger area of
material, thus reducing any stretching and ageing of the cloth.
Flying Lines:
Tested to 180/110kg, Ozone’s heat-treated
Eurocord Dyneema SK75 lines ensure stretch resistance, a high
thermal
tolerance and durability for all kites. Lines are cut, pre-stretched,
sleeved and stitched to ensure 100% accuracy. The lines are
final load tested to 60% of their breaking strain to “lock” the
line and as a final production check. The ‘kook-proof’ colour-coded
and labeled line connection system makes set-up safer and
completely stress-free
for riders new to kiting.
The Ozone Flow is supplied as Kite Only (with bag) or ready to fly with lines, handles or control bar + safety system:
Who is this kite designed for?
The Ozone Flow is the ultimate performance kite for anyone to get into the sport of power kiting - wanting the highest performance available yet not wanting to compromise on stability.
The Ozone Flow is the perfect balance between power and control, a kite that is fun and forgiving yet with high end performance. Perfect for recreational, buggying, landboarding, or snowkiting.
Be assured this kite will keep the adrenalin pumping long after others have given up and called time: Super smooth power delivery, speedy, agile, precise and always predictable the FLOW sets a new bench mark in the satisfaction of “wind addiction”.
Available in 4 sizes from 2.0 meters to 5.0 meters squared the OZONE FLOW covers
a massive range enabling action in almost all conditions.
Ozone Flow 2m: The 2m is about as much fun as you can hope to have with a small kite. Massive top end wind range for high-speed balls out buggy runs and just the right amount of challenge for anyone with ambition. Try flying on a bar as the kite boarding trainer of choice. Perfect for young or lightweight riders!
Ozone Flow 3m: The 3m is the ideal entry point in the range
for the land locked kiter generating power early on
in
the wind
range while always being easy to control. Quite possibly
the perfect introduction to landboarding.
Ozone Flow 4m: The 4m has the bottom end power needed in
the lighter winds likely to be encountered by novice
snow
kiters
and is a great mid-range buggy engine or land board
motor.
Ozone Flow 5m: The
5m is the one to beat in this category, with light wind
performance for effortless traction
and
an upper limit the pros will just keep pushing.
Ozone Flow comes supplied as Kite Only (with bag) or complete with Ozone 4-Line Quad Flying Line Set and 4-Line Handles or 4-Line Control Bar with safety system.

Great
Quality Performance Kite from Ozone! ! Alison
Eckhart >>
What a great introduction into the world of power kiting. I am so happy I went for Ozone quality!
This kite is really easy to setup, everything
is numbered up so you just connect them together and away
you go! It took about 5 minutes to set it up right out
of the bag.
Handling on the Ozone Flow is very smooth compared with my
other kites and the power delivery is strong but predictable
which made my introduction into landboarding really easy!
I am getting to grips with jumping with the kite already!
Lines are loads better than ones on my other kites and the
handles are very comfortable.
In a nutshell - if you are just starting out, or in the sport already - everyone should own one of these - its such a good kite for the money and would suit anyone wanting to do just recreational flying, landboarding or buggying! You won't grow out of this kite - it grows with you!
Thanks Ozone and thanks Powerkiteshop for
the speedy delivery!

Wicked Kite!
Sean Gladman >>
What a wicked kite!!! I`ve just taken delivery of my 3m Ozone Flow and bar setup. Looking through, the kit supplied quality oozes out from everywhere, even down to the kites user manual!
Eager for its first flight I headed off to my local field. Set up is so straightforward you wouldn't believe.....even my granny could set this one up.
With the wind around 4-6 knots I
thought I might of been in for a waste
of time but a quick pull back on
the bar and the Flow is heading for the
zenith.
The control of this kite is awesome, it flys so
smoothly that time just passes you by. All in all
this is
one
wicked piece of kit.
Buy one now! A1 quality and services as usual!
The quality of this foil is apparent the minute you unpack it !!!!
The lines are total quality and numbered for ease of set up. The bridle is minimalistic but strong and well sew in to the foil - it gives the impression of being light but very durable !!
I purchased the ozone bar as I prefer a bar to handles and I must say the bar supplied is absolutely superb, easy to set up easy to use and with a top notch chicken loop for hooking in to a harness !!!
In flight this foil is stable and holds no sudden surprises with plenty of power for its size a great kite for the buggy!!! I intend to order a 5 metre next! Powerkiteshop...Top service and delivery. Chuffed all round!!!
Just had a great time at the weekend on the beach, trying out our new kites. I flew my Ozone Flow 3m in 'proper' wind for the first time - wow!
Serious power and a LOT of fun. (Still aching!) Now need to save for a landboard.
Thanks for giving us the bug!
Hi there, I just wanted to send a quick note of thanks. I ordered my Flow and Power Kiting 'How-To' DVD (my first power kite, and my first purchase from Powerkiteshop). After spending the remainder of an agonising workday thinking about flying it, I set out to my local field only to find there wasn't a breath of wind (how typical)! Good opportunity to get everything set-up though.
I finally got to try it out properly yesterday though and I LOVE it! Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for being so quick and also for the great website. I'd also like to thank you for producing the DVD which is fantastic! I have a feeling this won't be my last purchase from yourselves (any bets on how long it will be before I start lusting after something bigger??). All the best, John.
In my quiver I have a 1.2 Sting and the 3.3 Sting as high wind kites, neither of which I found to be stable enough or ‘pully’ enough for use on a board. I needed to get a decent high wind kite that was stable enough to use on the board. I read a few reviews and decided to go for the Ozone Flow 2M. The kite came ready to fly, with kite killers, 20m lines, handles and an oversized rucksack.
The handles are a dream to use as they are very comfortable and seem to be a good shape and robust enough to last and they actually came with a strop so that you can use the kite locked in to a harness. Ozone have put a lot of thought into the flyer, giving a nice cushioned effect, neoprene cover over the power lines at the handle entry point. Very comfortable and just about the right size.
The flying lines are 20m Ozone lines and there is little to be said about them apart from the fact that they are well colour coded to enable the ease of connection to both the kite and the handles.
The bag is extremely good and can easily take the full kite with loads of room for about two other kites of similar sizes. I can get the 3.3 Sting and the 4M Hornet in it with little problem. It’s very comfortable and looks good too.
Now the important bit, the Kite itself. The build quality is superb with a closed cell, mylar taped, leading edge that helps to keep the kite’s shape, reducing any chance of luffing. The trailing edge is double rolled then stitched to aid in a smooth flow of air helping to keep the kite rock solid in the air. Another good feature of the kite is that it has ‘butt holes’ in both wing tips with trailing edge sand channels internally, that make getting rid of any debris from inside the kite very easy. The connection points for the bridles are sewn deep into the structure of the kite helping the load spread evenly throughout the kite’s surface. All of which go to make an extremely stable kite that flies fantastically well.
My first flight of the 2M Flow was on a day where there was very little wind maybe about 2-5 mph. From the kites that I have flown in these light winds the 2M Flow should not have been able to do what I was making it do. It was extremely stable with zero luffing, reverse launching was a cinch and I was even generating a bit of pull when coming through the power zone.
This very same day, there was a family of three generations trying to get a two-line stunt kite off the ground. The wind levels were far too low for such a kite and I leant them the Ozone Flow. I gave the Grandfather a quick introduction into the world of power-kiting and explained why we use kite killers and what each of the four lines were for. After about 5 minutes of flying he was looping and generating power and having a thoroughly good time. Then his son had a go. Again within 5 minutes he was kite-looping and getting pulled about a bit when coming through the power zone. The smile on his face made it quite clear that he had enjoyed playing with the Flow.
Then the grandson wanted to have a go, he was about 7 and so I told his dad to keep a hold of him just in case. At one point the boy’s feet were off the floor with his ol’ man holding him by the hands controlling the kite. The grandson loved it.
The point I’m trying to make is that this kite is extremely easy to use by all ages and all skill levels. In very light winds the kite acts like one twice its size, being able to stay stable and give a good introduction to the world of power-kiting. In higher winds this kite steps up to the mark big time, still being uber stable and very controllable the pull generated from almost anywhere in the window is unbelievable. In winds of about 26 Mph, (the highest it’s been since I’ve had the kite,) the pull is fantastic and boarding with it is easy. The 2M Flow, with its superb stability and fast turning speed, gives the rider an engine that allows him/her to have full trust in it and maybe try a few new moves or just perfect the ones already in their repertoire. Having had the kite now for a while, I have had many people fly it of all skill levels, and they have all said that it’s a dream to fly, generating power when wanted and parks at the zenith and at the window’s edge with little or no problem at all.
For the price of this fantastic all-round kite there is very little to complain about at all. I would give it full marks in any survey - Thumbs Up!!!
