Ozone Access 2013 Improvements:

The Ozone Access 2013 has been redesigned from the ground up with great turn, constant power / depower both encompassed within the bar throw.

The Access is constructed from top quality materials and features a double pulley speedsystem, utilising latest high specification Ronstan Orbit Block Series 20 pulleys.

 

Four unique blow-out-valves on the under surface also allow the internal volume of air to be released when the kite is crashed into the ground which reduces the potential to get blow outs.

The new Ozone Access 2013 also features an added safety option with the Access Control System, allowing for easy 100% flag-out safety whilst retaining the brake handle landing option.

Ozone Access 2013 - 4m:

The 4m is ideal for light riders in medium to strong winds. The perfect size for learning, children or as a storm kite for experts on backcountry missions

Ozone Access 2013 - 6m:

This is the ideal high wind kite for experienced riders, its high stability makes it the ultimate storm kite. For beginners this is a good kite to start snowkiting with.

Depower Control Bar

Ozone Access 2013 Control-Snow Megatron Bar System:

With feedback from Ozone's Pro riders and customers they have simplified and refined the new control system. The stall handle has been re-designed with a reduced diameter and attachment to stop line catching.

 

The back line trimmers have been replaced with foam floats with internal back line trimming to keep the lower leader lines stiffer to reduce tangles for unhooked rider’s.

The Contact-Snow Control System still uses Ozone's Patent Pending Leash Less “RE-RIDE” safety system.

Ozone has been leading the industry since launching the original Frenzy in 2002, the Worlds 1st open celled de-powered foil.

The best depowerable kite! Joe Gibson

Just get one of these! It is without a doubt the best depower kite for people just getting into depowerable kites, buggying, learning to landboard or snowkiting. I have used mine for all of these kitesports and don't think I need any other kite. It is so versatile!

Handling on this kite is easy and all of the safety features are easy to reach. The turns are smooth and the depower is so big.

Overall the 8m I think would suit most flyers in average winds - it seems big but the depower on this kite is so huge you can take it out in silly winds!

Buy one and you will not be disappointed!

This is such an easy kite to use. It may seem very docile at first but when you learn how to use it to its full potential - you will be very surprised.

Switch the power on and off by just pulling and pushing the bar is all you need to do. Pull the bar in and the power increases. Push the bar away and the power decreases.

I have been up to 40mph on my landboard with this kite and it doesnt feel scary which is what you need when you are going that fast!

Overall - this is a kite I will keep in my quiver no matter what!

First off a big thank you to Powerkiteshop who put up with two weeks calls, countless questions and brain picking about the purchase of my first depowerable foil - very helpful and some sensible advice!

Now to the purchase - in a word...BRILLIANT! WHAT A KITE!

The foil is beautifully made, top notch lines, a simple bridle and a great easy to use bar. The safety systems are simple and very effective in killing power instantly and bringing the kite down safely.

 

The depower works really well and is a proper eye opener after flying fixed bridle foils making those nasty gusts easy to handle and giving a massive wind range on one size foil.

 

I bought and eight metre foil and it seems to cover my fixed 3m up to my 6m foils.

 

In summary, this is a great way to enter the wonderful world of de-power. A superb kite at a very good price. Go and buy one - you won't regret it!
