The NTT is quick and easy to mount. It offers a variety of settings for a perfect fit.
The NTT Contact Pad consists of the new, redesigned EVA footpad and the NTT ContactFrame. The ergonomically shaped footpad was developed in cooperation with the leading experts in ergonomics. The Hexagonal Density Control Structure is a new feature in 2013. This structure helps reduce pressure in sensitive areas of the foot and contributes to the pad’s low weight. The newly designed Anti-Slip surface ensures a good grip, even in very rough landings and radical moves. Furthermore, the pad is supplied with three NTT Heel Cushions of varying hardness: “soft” for more comfort, “hard” for better control and “medium” for the golden mean. |

The North Jaime Pro 2013 Series is bridges the gap between free-ride and freestyle. There are a number of reasons why the Jaime is the longest running and best selling twin tip model of all time. It could be it’s super versatile feel, all-round performance and ability to adapt to a huge range of conditions. It could also be its incredibly smooth feel through choppy water and butter soft landings. Some even say it’s the fact that despite the Jaime’s comfy and easy free-ride feel it is still able to produce explosive pop similar to our more powerful new-school boards. But it’s probably mostly due to the fact that Jaime (the man himself!) continues to relentlessly strive year after year to refine and improve his model not only for his own personal enjoyment and progression as a rider, but to please all those loyal fans out there that just can’t get enough of the Jaime board and can’t wait to see what’s next!
Possibly the most universal board in the North range, the North Jaime 2013 has plenty of pop for throwing powered new-school tricks yet maintains a smooth, comfy feel.
The Jaime still leads the way in terms of construction, utilizing a new carbon beam on the top and bottom, which allows us to save up to 10% off the weight and delivers more progressive flex and pop. This season the Jaime comes with an even more freestyle oriented outline for more aggressive unhooked freestyle performance.
To keep the comfortable freeride roots, North
have scooped the board more and made the flex slightly softer.
With 7 years of pedigree behind it the 2013 Jaime is the most
refined board North have built, the flex is comfortable, yet
still allows riders to be aggressive. Carving is smooth and
predictable thanks to the smooth outline and the double V
shaped bottom gives excellent grip. Jaime Herraz defines a
certain style of kiteboarding, his signature board emulates
that style, strap in and ride like Jaime!
Combining new-school performance characteristics with plug-and-play
free-ride comfort, the Jaime is a legendary, progressive,
all-terrain machine and truly a benchmark in a league of its
own.
The subtle combination of a round rocker, single concave and
Responsive Centre Flex makes the North Jaime extremely smooth
through the chop, yet still aggressive enough to keep up with
the young guns with amazing pop and a solid, positive feel
on edge.
Featuring North's most high-tech construction, harmonic flex and S-bend fins, the Jaime’s emphasis on early planing and great upwind ability make it ideal for gusty winds, to keep you planing through the holes. The 139cm offers plenty of reserves for heavier people even in tricky, gusty conditions, where a little extra planing surface is needed.
The combination of medium flex and new carbon light-wood construction dampens the chop and gives the North Jaime Pro new levels of comfort and gives you the best of both worlds: New school performance and free-ride comfort.
The secret to the Jaime's huge range lies in it's asymmetrical bottom concave that combines a new-school rocker in the centre of the board for speed with a rounder scoop line along the rails for a forgiving ride.
Throughout the test process - North have developed a new construction that translates into more comfort and livelier performance when compared to it's predecessors.
Medium flex makes the Jaime perfect for laying down tracks in small waves.
With over 80,000 boards sold, Jaime's 7th generation pro model sets a new benchmark in performance and advanced board construction.
North Kiteboarding
Track System:
Kiteboarding is evolving at an amazing pace. As a result of
this development, the demands on the material are increasing
as well.
Due to new tricks and an increased variety of people who engage in the sport, it has become more and more important that the entire equipment can be individually adjusted.
For this reason North have set out to develop a multifunctional mounting system for their boards. What North envisaged was a solution that would allow a wide range of adjustments as well as quick and easy mounting of the footpads without having a negative influence on the board’s flex and weight.
The result of this effort is a system that meets all our requirements. North proudly present the new THE TRACK SYSTEM!

The Track System features two ultrasonic welded tracks made of fibreglass reinforced plastic that are laminated into their boards in the production process. The tracks are then CNC milled out of the finished board.
The Track Nuts provide the connection with the footpad. The Track Nuts are made of non-corrosive brass and can be freely moved along the track to both sides. This system offers a whole range of possibilities to mount your footpads. One particular advantage is that the flexible tracks do not interfere with the finely-tuned flex of North boards.
North Jaime Pro 2013 Features / Technology:

3D Wood Carbon Cap
Sandwich:
2013 is a big leap forward in board technology as North Kiteboarding
introduces the 3D Wood Carbon Cap Sandwich in combination
with the Responsive Centre Flex. Combining the unique properties
of wood core and carbon fibre, with an advanced flex pattern
from a CNC milled 3D deck and concave bottom, the 2013 North
Kiteboard range is setting a new standard in performance,
comfort and durability.
Technology Leader:
The unique thing about the 3D Wood Carbon Cap Sandwich is
the fully 3D shaped wood core with the advanced deck flex
pattern and concave bottom. This type of advanced step cap
sandwich construction, in combination with a concave bottom
has previously only been possible to manufacture with foam
cores, which have certain limitations regarding flex, core
thickness and shear strength. Thanks to North's strong R&D
focus and collaboration with one of the world’s leading
snowboard factories, North Kiteboarding is the first company
in the world to introduce 3D Wood Carbon Cap Sandwich. This
technology opens up a new door for flex development. In terms
of kiteboards it means a significant performance boost and
a whole new level of comfort for the rider.
Comfort:
The strong, fibrous structure of the wood core allow for a
thinner core profile and a higher amount of bending compared
with a traditional foam core, without the risk of breakage.
The result is a board with a greater amount of flex, working
as an active suspension while riding, providing a smooth and
controlled feeling even through rough water.
Responsiveness:
Thanks to the natural flex characteristics and spring back
of the wood core, our new boards have a responsive and lively
feel on the water, without sacrificing the comfort.
A further step in technology is the Responsive Centre Flex.
The result is a highly responsive, yet still forgiving board,
with instant feedback to the rider’s input.
Control:
The 3D Wood Carbon Cap Sandwich construction has a higher
amount of flex and torsion than a traditional foam core. This
allows the board to quickly adapt to every impact from the
water surface, giving the rider more space for mistakes, without
the risk of loosing control. What the rider
will experience is a board that’s easy to set up for
take off and forgiving in the landings, and maintains good
grip when riding full speed through choppy water. On the North
Jaime Pro 2013, the concave bottom keeps the board sucked
to the surface of the water while effortlessly blasting through
knee high chop, drawing full speed turns or carving in the
waves.
Strength:
North's wood core has three times higher density than a standard
foam core, and much greater strength and impact resistance.
Fatigue resistance, the ability to withstand stress caused
by thousands of impacts and hard landings over time, has been
significantly improved. Heel dents, split cores and cracked
laminates are history. The new 3D Wood Carbon Cap Sandwich
is the strongest construction we’ve ever made, reassuring
a long
life and functionality for your kiteboard.
3D Decks Responsive
Centre Flex:
For 2013 North have worked hard to further enhance the feeling
and performance of our twin tips through innovation. A harmonic
flex from front to rear means that the rocker line is actively
changing and adapting to the water’s surface, which
gives you pro active dampening and absorption of chop. Furthermore,
the continuous flex offers increased power flow for hard pop,
making take-offs easier and more predictable. Torsional Absorption
System offers smoother, stickier landings, a more solid feel
through the water, more grip on the heel-side edge and consequently
better upwind performance. Flex Tips give you more control
when combined with lower bottom curve as well as responsive,
controllable pop and cushioned, comfortable landings.
Absorption Flex Tips:
The flex tips are reinforced with transversal ribs for increased torsional stiffness to create a more aggressive edge grip and pop while the longtitudinal flex remains moderate for a smooth and forgiving ride. The result is maximum performance, control and durability in combination with a high level of comfort.
Super Flight
Core:
Keeps the kiteboard extremely light and responsive yet durable
enough to withstand all the abuse that this style of riding
can dish out!
Medium
Flex:
Allowing you to ride a majority of water conditions without
compromising on performance.
Who is the board designed for:
If you want a kiteboard that is comfortable to ride in all
types of conditions, the North Jaime Pro 2013 makes them easy
and fun to ride. No matter if it's slick-flat or rough choppy
water this board will do it all. The North Jaime Pro 2013
will please riders seeking a complete board that will be both
fun and challenging, cruising on a long down-winder or pushing
their level to the next impossible move.

Good-Upwind
Qualities - Peter Panhuber!
I bought this board as a 67kg rider with the
intention to use it both at sea as well as at lakes. I just
used this board for 3 weeks in Venezuela with choppy, wavy
conditions as well as on completley flat water.
The pads are very soft and comfortable but hold my feet very
well and therefore was no reason to adjust the straps every
day.
The board itself is also very comfortable, which means no muscle pain even when riding for 3 hours in the row. In comparison to other riders I had the insight that the board has very good going-upwind qualities.
The board also has very good pop, which was
shown during loaded jumps or raleys.
