Power Foil Canopy: The Naish Power Foil Canopy has horizontal seam shaping instead of vertical, which makes the canopy looser than with the Geo-Tech construction resulting in a kite that creates more instant lift. |
![]() |
| Low Drag Wing
Tip: This wing tip geometry reduces the overall surface of the non-lifting portion and greatly reduces drag. The more efficient the lift / drag ratio becomes, the faster the wing tip can move through the air, which allows the kite to be both quicker and more responsive through turns. |
![]() |
| Direct Response
Steering: The angle of attack on the wing tips have been increased to keep them more actively engaged. When bar input is added, the wingtip instantly reacts and produces drag, while the opposite wing tip instantly accelerates, which creates quicker turning. Relaunch is also optimized as the lines hang to the inside of the kite and have less chance of becoming wrapped around the wing tip. |

| Radial Segmented
C-Shape: Radial Segment C-Shape generates the C-arc using short linear segments to accurately form the kite's arc. |
![]() |
| Octopus Inflation
System: Proven, quick and easy singly point inflation system creating uniform pressure in the struts. The Naish exclusive one-way internal valve ensures that the pressure in the struts does not change during turns. |

| Naish Kiteboarding
Quality Construction: From bladders to stitching, every Naish kite has been meticulously checked to pass the highest quality control in the industry. Every detail is checked over before the kite leaves the factory to produce a product you can trust. |

| Molded
Trailing Edge Reinforcement: Optimal trailing edge protection with a molded reinforcement at the end of each strut. |

| Molded Bumpers: Large thermo-molded bumpers which wrap further around the leading edge to improve seam protection when landing and launching the kite. |
![]() |
| Vertical Seam
Struts: A reduction in the number of pieces used in the struts means more precision in defining the canopy profile. The seams are also reinforced with an extra layer of webbing and double zig-zag stitches to avoid breakage. |
![]() |
| New Dacron
Trailing Edge: All Naish kites have a 100% Dacron trailing edge for enhanced durability. |

Improved Velcro Closure: The deflation valve on the leading edge of all Naish kites have a double velcro closure system to keep them closed during impact. |

| Load
Spread Wing Tip Construction: All wing tips are designed with seams running parallel to the load generated by the flying lines. These seams carry most of the load and spread it higher into the canopy. This construction avoids fatigue on the fabric and in the wing tip area, without adding weight. |

| 2-Piece Leading Edge: This construction provides better twist control of the leading edge and improves turning performance. |

The Naish Park 2012 offers freeride simplicity. Designed for riders who are looking for simple, no-fuss performance. The Park is a performance-focused kite, condensed into an easy, simple package.
The Park’s three-strut design is stable and responsive. This configuration, combined with a powerful profile and full outline gives the Park the consistent pull of a “C” type kite and the power control of a swept kite. The swept leading-edge positions the wingtips behind the centre of the kite, which gives the kite easy relaunch capabilities and maximizes depower.
For 2012 Naish have focused on the low-end power delivery without losing any of the light, crisp feel. LE percentage and profile depth have been tuned to improve the low-end pull. Naish also slightly reduced the sweep in order to get the overall platform closer to a real classic C-shape. To maintain the relaunch characteristics, Naish slightly extended the wing tips, to keep the same leverage on the overall kite when the rider pulls on the back line. The rider can expect earlier planing without sacrificing handling. The bar feel is crisper, which means the rider can better feel what the kite is doing and can steer it with precision. The relaunch is also improved over last year’s edition.
The “do everything” nature of the Park opens up a huge range of performance options for the rider. It is the perfect tool whether you are focusing on sticking that handle-pass rotation, bashing the lip or maximizing your freeride time out on the water.
The Naish Park 2012 uses patented design features including Power Foil Canopy. This increase performance at different levels and creates an amazing step forward in kite performance.
Swept Compact C:
Blends the pop and lift of a C-kite with the power, control and turning of a swept leading edge kite. In addition, the Swept Compact C-shape also provides ideal relaunch capabilities.
Evolutive Profile:
The profile's depth and shape evolves along the airfoil. The center sections generate power and speed. The tips are fast turning and minimize drag. This creates a fast flying, stable kite with less back stalling.
Low
Drag Wing Tip:
This wing tip geometry reduces the overall surface of the
non-lifting portion and greatly reduces drag. The more efficient
the lift / drag ratio
becomes, the faster the wing tip can move through the air,
which allows the kite to be both quicker and more responsive
through turns.
Radial
Segmented C-Shape:
Radial Segment C-Shape generates the C-arc using short linear
segments to accurately form the kite's arc.
Anti-Stiction
Window:
The wing tip features a flow-through window, which reduces
static friction and allows easy relaunch by letting water
drain instantly.
Octopus
Inflation System:
Proven, quick and easy singly point inflation system creating
uniform pressure in the struts. The Naish exclusive one-way
internal valve ensures that the pressure in the struts does
not change during turns.
Solid
Frame Construction:
Every strut is attached to a frame of heavy duty Dacron that
is then sewn onto the canopy for unmatched resistance to wear
and heavy loads.
Radial
Load Distribution:
All wing tips are designed with seams running parallel to
the load generated by the flying lines. These seams carry
most of the load, and spread it higher into the canopy. This
construction avoids fatigue on the fabric and in the wing
tip area.
LWR
(Light Wind Relaunch):
With all the new options available in light wind boards, riders
are pushing the envelope of what is considered rideable. The
new LWR (Light Wind Relaunch) gives the rider complete confidence
when going out in the lightest of wind. This system lifts
the wing tip independent of the rear leader line, and cups
the trailing edge for instant relaunch. The LWR works when
nothing else will.
Naish Park C-Kite
Water Relaunch >
Auto-relaunch allows the kite to naturally roll on it's side
and move to the edge of the wind window waiting for the rider's
input to launch.

Naish Park 2012 Depower
>
The Naish Park 2012 is a kite that depowers by flying to the
edge of the window. Compared to other kites, the Park’s
foil profile is thinner, and its Leading Edge diameter is
smaller.
These two characteristics allow the kite to fly further forward
in the window, and get there fast. This gives it the ability
to depower quickly.
Naish Kiteboarding
Power Foil Canopy:
The Naish Power Foil Canopy has horizontal seam shaping instead
of vertical, which makes the canopy looser than with the Geo-Tech
construction resulting in a kite that creates more instant
lift.

Naish Universal Control Bar System
![]()
Riders of all levels, from pros to newcomers, will all gain substantial advantages from the new Naish Universal Control System.
The Naish 2012 Universal Control System has a new front line configuration. The front lines now have a 3m single line to a Y point. The front flagging leash system has been improved and weight saved by removing the stainless Centre Line Organizer and Swivel.
A 4-line or 5-line control system in a simple ergonomic layout. The 3m single centre line split allows the removal of heavy parts and allows the front line flagging leash and optional 5th Line Kit to function efficiently.
The Naish Control bar comes standard with the Smart Loop, auto-orienting sheeting loop, and optional sliding stopper.
The result is a simple and functional control system that provides the rider with greater confidence in its functionality in all situations.
With a greatly improved “through the bar” front line leash system, and new larger floaters, the 2012 Universal Control System is more streamlined and functional than ever before.
All kite sizes can be flown with the same bar.

Buy one and you won't be disappointed - Colin Phillips >>
Having flown these for some time now, I can confirm the hype! Performance when you want it with a smooth manageable kite when you don't!
These kites do everything - surf, freestyle, big airs, handles gusty conditions and when you do drop it out of the sky - easy relaunch.
In essence the Park is a Naish Torch with the wing tips cut off so when you pull the bar in for big airs or unhooked, the profile turns into a Torch!
I have had the 12m out from 12 knots and the 8m in 50 knots plus! The beauty of these kites is that a complete novice can even take these kites out to learn on with the let-go safety and easy relaunch.
If you want a kite to grow into as you progress, don't disregard the Park! It's a great kite with the ability to grow with you as you progress with the added benefit of long or short lines giving the kite great versatility for any side of the sport. Buy one and you won't be disappointed!
