| Naish Kiteboarding
Sigma Outline The Naish Sigma Outline is an aerodynamic "bird-in-flight" shape that moves much of the centre canopy area behind the tow point, resulting in a kite that has unmatched stability even at an extremely low angle of attack. The Sigma Outline also provides a linear power band and bar pressure with very easy water relaunch. |

| Naish Kiteboarding
Geo-Tech: Straight leading edge segments between the struts provide constant tension on the canopy in order to form perfect foil definition. It maintains an extremely stable foil at any flying angle. The result is an unbelievably smooth and stable kite with superior control at the higher end of the wind range. |
![]() |
| Low Drag
Wing Tip: This wing tip geometry reduces the overall surface of the non-lifting portion and greatly reduces drag. The more efficient the lift / drag ratio becomes, the faster the wing tip can move through the air, which allows the kite to be both quicker and more responsive through turns. |
![]() |
| Direct Response
Steering: The angle of attack on the wing tips have been increased to keep them more actively engaged. When bar input is added, the wingtip instantly reacts and produces drag, while the opposite wing tip instantly accelerates, which creates quicker turning. Relaunch is also optimized as the lines hang to the inside of the kite and have less chance of becoming wrapped around the wing tip. |

| Geo-Tech
Segmented C-Shape: The mix of C-shape characteristics coupled with the stability and canopy tension of Geo-Tech construction. The centre of the kite is flat with a large angle at the S2 strut. The improves turning by allowing the kite to twist at the S2 position, while keeping the centre of the canopy with clean airflow for consistent power in the turn. |

| Octopus Inflation
System: Proven, quick and easy singly point inflation system creating uniform pressure in the struts. The Naish exclusive one-way internal valve ensures that the pressure in the struts does not change during turns. |

| Naish Kiteboarding
Quality Construction: From bladders to stitching, every Naish kite has been meticulously checked to pass the highest quality control in the industry. Every detail is checked over before the kite leaves the factory to produce a product you can trust. |

| Molded
Trailing Edge Reinforcement: Optimal trailing edge protection with a molded reinforcement at the end of each strut. |

|
Aramid Patches: |

| Molded Bumpers: Large thermo-molded bumpers which wrap further around the leading edge to improve seam protection when landing and launching the kite. |
![]() |
| Vertical Seam Struts: A reduction in the number of pieces used in the struts means more precision in defining the canopy profile. The seams are also reinforced with an extra layer of webbing and double zig-zag stitches to avoid breakage. |

| Load
Spread Wing Tip Construction: All wing tips are designed with seams running parallel to the load generated by the flying lines. These seams carry most of the load and spread it higher into the canopy. This construction avoids fatigue on the fabric and in the wing tip area, without adding weight. |

The 2010 Naish Cult returns as the world’s number one user friendly all-terrain kite. The new simplified bridles provide direct and light bar feel, and the degree of Naish Sigma angle has been increased to improve turning characteristics and linear bar feel.
The Naish Cult 2010 is designed for beginner through to advanced riders seeking a stable, easy-handling kite. The Naish Cult now boasts an even larger sweet spot, ideal pull through the turns, and enhanced smoothness.
Beginners will enjoy the smooth and responsive steering, light bar pressure, and depower capability. Advanced riders will appreciate the balanced feel hooked-in or unhooked. The easy re-launch will help beginner to advanced rider get back up and going in a moment.
For 2010 "Geo-Tech Generated C-Shape" and simplified bridles provide a more direct bar feel. The amount of Naish Sigma has been increased to improve turning characteristics and linear bar feel.
Naish’s new Sigma design concepts and Geo-Tech construction define the natural evolution of using new technologies to adapt to the ever-changing performance requirements of modern kites.
Visually striking while providing amazing canopy tension, these kites have unmatched stability and wind range, precise handling, light and linear bar pressure, and unbelievably easy water re-launch capabilities. One glimpse, one ride, and you will never look at Kiteboarding the same again.
The Naish Cult 2010 uses two new patented
design features: Sigma Outline and Geotech. Both increase
performance at different levels, and their combination
creates an amazing step forward in kite performance.
Now, more than ever, the sport of kiteboarding has been simplified
with the smoothh and predictable All-Terrain performance of
the new Naish Cult 2010.
Naish Sigma Outline
>
The Naish Sigma shape improves the kite performance
at every level. The Sigma Outline is an advanced engineering
design that increases the efficiency of our kites.
The Naish Sigma Outline is a radically re-shaped leading edge that moves a large portion of the centre canopy behind the tow point. The result is a perfectly balanced kite that delivers significant performance improvements in the areas of overall stability, bar pressure and feel, turning, and relaunch.

This illustration shows how the lifting surface remains in a safe neutral
zone behind the tow point even at extreme depower. This minimizes the
movement of the centre of effort, resulting in very even bar pressure
regardless of the kites flying position.
The performance of Sigma Outline kites combined with the Geo-Tech design is far superior to any bow concept in that the keeps the kite more stable than any bow, there is no inversion with Sigma Series kites, and they have a wider wind range due to more efficient profiles.
Overall, the Sigma design produces a balanced, linear power band combined with bar pressure that remains light but steady through a wide range of trim angles, creating a nearly perfect feedback loop between rider and kite.

The Naish Sigma leading edge
enables the rider to turn the kite at any speed with absolute
control. This Naish Sigma leading
edge produces a ‘hinge’ point at the centre
of the kite.
Unlike conventional kites that use a maximum of 30% of the
kite area to generate turning forces, the Naish Sigma cleanly
deforms from the centre to produce a highly effective turning
shape (comprised of nearly 50% of the total area) that responds
more quickly and accurately to rider input.
Naish Sigma Water Relaunch >
When Naish Sigma kites are on the water with the leading
edge facing down the reduced area of contact compared to
a conventional
bow kites allows the kite to be almost instantly re-launched.
During water relaunch the kite pivots on either shoulder point. The rapid recovery gives the rider confidence to try new moves with out the worry of losing time and ground.
The Naish Sigma kites offer the easiest relaunch in kiteboarding history.

The illustration above shows how the area in contact with the water has been greatly reduced, and how the kite is able to pivot off either ‘shoulder’ for relaunch.
Geo-Tech Design >
The principle of
the Geotech design is to keep the tension of the canopy in
between the struts on the leading edge side of the kite.
Geo-Tech is extremely
simple, as it requires fewer seams.
The Geo-Tech concept provides constant tension in the kites canopy by incorporating straight line segments in the leading edge. With the constant canopy tension, the overall foil profile is perfectly controlled and defined, which allows the kite to remain extremely stable through the entire range of depower and considerably increases the wind range.

Wind pressure is not necessary to maintain the canopy profile, and at low angles of attack Geo-Tech keeps the canopy from collapsing. By maintaining a consistent aerodynamic leading edge Geo-Tech provides a wrinkle free canopy, large depower range, and stability at broad angles of attack where historically kites with a large depower range have experienced distortion.
The tension of the canopy
between the struts is amazing compared to any kite without
Geo-Tech. It is very noticeable when the kite is depowered
(i.e. when the angle of attack is very close to the wind
direction). The result is a kite that keeps its easy steering
ability even when it is sheeted out. The tension in the
canopy also gives the kite an overall cleaner profile during
every
moment of your riding session for better upwind, jumps,
and overall performance.
Combined with Sigma shape, Geo-Tech creates the most precise and controllable kites ever, which maintain this feeling and control through an amazingly broad wind range.
Geo-Tech Segmented
C-Shape:
The mix of C-shape characteristics coupled with the stability and canopy tension
of Geo-Tech construction. The centre of the kite is flat with a large angle at
the S2 strut. The improves turning by allowing the kite to twist at the S2 position,
while keeping the centre of the canopy with clean airflow for consistent power
in the turn.

Naish Universal Control Bar System

Riders of all levels, from pros to newcomers, will all gain substantial advantages from the new Naish Universal Control System.
The Naish 2010 Universal Control System has a new front line configuration. The front lines now have a 3m single line to a Y point. The front flagging leash system has been improved and weight saved by removing the stainless Centre Line Organizer and Swivel.
A 4-line or 5-line control system in a simple ergonomic layout. The 3m single centre line split allows the removal of heavy parts and allows the front line flagging leash and optional 5th Line Kit to function efficiently.
The Naish Control bar comes standard with the Smart Loop, auto-orienting sheeting loop, and optional sliding stopper.
The result is a simple and functional control system that provides the rider with greater confidence in its functionality in all situations.
With a greatly improved “through the bar” front line leash system, and new larger floaters, the 2010 Universal Control System is more streamlined and functional than ever before.
All kite sizes can be flown with the same bar.

The very first word has to be – Smooth! Having not used any sigma kites before I was itching to get onto the Naish Cult 2010.
If you decide to buy one of these bits of kit, you’ll get a nice tingly feeling when it arrives as it comes in a pimping box as does the bar. The rucksack works well, with straps and pockets for everything.
Out of the bag, Naish scores very highly in the quality arena and the Octopus single point inflation is another great design with no exposed tubes adding bulk or hindering the aerodynamics.
I use the Naish Cult 2010 on a 4 line bar, but the kite does have an option of a 5 line system. The bar is simple and of high quality, I found de-powering at the chicken loop easier than I thought it would be. The bar has a cool feature where the chicken loop has a slot that it locates to in the underside of the bar so that if you unhook, the loop is always orientated correctly to the bar when you are trying to hook back in, great idea.
Anyway, back to the ‘Smooth’ word – I think it’s the first word that should come into your head when you think of the Naish Cult. The Sigma design does a lot of clever stuff and it translates into an efficient well mannered kite with bags of grunt and depower. I’d liken the kite to a powerful executive saloon – comfortable & refined but plenty of performance lying in waiting.
The turning is something different, it turns about its centre and seems to produce really smooth power through the turn, very different feel to most kites but really nice and great for beginners. Talking of which, an added bonus for learners (and those of us trying something new and not quite making it) is the re-launch. Due to the shape, a small amount kite touches the water so a little pressure on a back line and the kite spins and takes off, easy!
A group of us fly the Naish Cult and one vibe came from everyone who came off the water (along with a big grin) - ‘its such an easy kite’. This kite will appeal to loads of kiters.
If you a beginner/intermediate or advanced intermediate who needs a confidence giving kite to master that next personal goal - whether it be making that first run, going up wind, that first jump, getting into those waves, mastering that directional board or nailing your first kiteloop backloop. If you answered yes to any of the above or anything similar, then the Naish Cult 2010 is a kite worth considering. It takes all the grief away from flying a kite allowing you to focus on progressing or to simply enjoy your day on the water.
