Description

The Naish Arcade kiteboard is for aggressive wakestyle riders using boots or footstraps. This board can be ridden with fins or finless! When it comes to a legit wakestyle board, there is no substitute for real wake-inspired 3D bottom shaping.

 

Following feedback from wakestyle prodigy Sam Light, Naish focused the design towards finless performance and riding with boots.

 

The tips are channeled to increase grip and directional stability. The centre section remains flat to provide a forgiving platform when landing flat and off axis, while the beveled edges allow the rider to focus on making that 50-foot slider without worry of catching an edge.

 

The bottom is reinforced with Naish’s exclusive skid plate technology on the sections of the board that come into contact with obstacles. This feature supports the fins, ensures durability and provides grip for finless riding.

 

The Arcade has a “no compromise” shape, full tips and low rocker line, for maximum control and speed. The tip shape has been tuned to eliminate eye spray. Rocker, outline and tip width are optimized for the direct power needed for light wind efficiency, upwind drive and speed.

 

The Naish Arcade's wide surface area, full rocker, quadruple tunnel on the tip area and responsive flex provide easy planing, great edging and control.

The 2012 Naish Arcade fuses laminates for a flex character, reflex response, anti-vibration, anti-distortion, weight and durability combination superior to its predecessors.

 

High Rocker: Pro Power Performance means commitment to progression wakestyle riding, both in footstraps and boots. These characteristics provide smooth riding in rough chop and make radically flat landings feel soft and easy on the rider.

 

3D Wakestyle (WS) bottom shaping: Features tips that deliver grip to ride finless, and flow to a mid-section bevel, providing release and forgiveness on sliders.

 

Optimised Response Flex

The Optimized Response Flex is specifically tailored to the bottom shaping, outline and rocker. It is moderately soft under lighter loads which allows the board to respond dynamically to input, while progressively stiffing in flex under higher loads, to retain direct energy transfer between the rider and the board.

 

Full Paulownia Wood Core: Paulownia wood is lightweight, not subject to warp and has outstanding reflex characteristics. It also has one of the highest strength-to-weight ratios of any wood, which makes it the perfect core for kiteboards.

 

Tip-2-Tip Hybrid Wood Core:

Featuring a tip-to-tip solid wood core with a highly developed thickness taper and hybrid of different densities of vertically laminated wood. This new core is combined with top and bottom laminates unique to each board model. Each model is engineered with an exact flex characteristic for specific riding performance and unsurpassed durability.

Naish Ally Kiteboard Foot Bindings:

 

Designed to fit any foot size, the Ally binding provides maximum comfort, lateral support and multiple stance and duck options, in one easy-to-assemble package.

New overlapping strap design providing size adjustment in width as well as height. Dual Velcro adjusters easily conform to any foot size and keep the upper-strap padding centred on the foot.

 

Molded side wings set the proper angle to the top of the rider’s foot. This keeps the strap positioned and provides lateral foot support.

New design with “wake-boots outside” for amazing support and “foot-strap inside” for heel angle freedom.

 

New double strap adjustment feature to trim the angle of the foot-strap top for optimal fit.

 

Soft in the heel and centre area for full shock absorption where the rider lands the most. Stiffer on the edge to keep the foot centered on landing.
