Description
The MBS Core 95 2013 is an excellent intermediate
level board for freestyle riders and kiters.
It features MBS’ high-performance,
lightweight Vector trucks and totally redesigned, stylish
F2 bindings keeping the board weight down without sacrificing
comfort.
This board is a fantastic choice for anybody
looking for advanced all-around performance.
MBS Core 95 Deck:
High level performance at great price. The Core 95 deck features
a Surlyn base for excellent durability and slidability, while
it's PowerLam Composite lay-up yields a fun but forgiving
ride.
PowerLam Composite contruction is a time tested
construction technique, combined with current composite technology.
Powerlam decks consist of a horizontal laminate core made
from several wood veneers. Different types of veeners are
strategically placed throughout the deck to yield the optimum
performance required for that type of deck. Fibreglass is
then added to the lay-up to increase the strength to weight
ratio. MBS concentrates fibreglass layers as close to the
top and bottom layers as possible as this is where the bending
stresses are at the highest. Powerlam decks come predrilled
for F-series bindings and MBS grab handles.

Vector Channel Truck System:
MBS' Vector trucks with patent pending "Twin Pin Channel"
truck technology provide the perfect blend between precision,
weight, and economy by combining the attributes of the lightweight,
easy to adjust, and inexpensive ATS truck with the world renowned
precision and stability of the Matrix Channel truck. Added
features such as a flat grind surface and the stainless M10
king pin and hardware guarantee that the Vector will be loved
by weight-conscious kiteboarders, mountainboarders and skate
park riders alike.
MBS Twistar Hub Set:
The revolutionary MBS Twistar hub design takes all the hardware
out of the traditional two-piece hub, and replaces it with
interlocking teeth that are molded right into the hub itself.
So just a simple twist of the hub with your tire deflated
is all it takes to assemble it. The result is a hub that is
light weight, strong, totally rust proof, and so easy to assemble
/ dissassemble. Ideal for freestyle riders - especially kiters.

traction. Centre-line contact to maintain speed.
MBS F2 Velcro Bindings:
The NEW MBS F2 bindings are a huge improvement
over Velcro bindings on the market today. New features include
a larger and more ergonomic EVA pad with PE inner structure
for added support, full coverage graphic, and two-tone edge
taping on all edges to add an extra professional touch to
a tried and true binding design. The new F2 bindings will
be loved by riders of all levels, from budget conscious beginners
to advanced kiteboarders that are looking for the lightest,
simplest, and most low-profile binding available.

This is the first board I have purchased and
love the exhilaration.
I have discovered that kite land-boarding
is just as much fun as kite-surfing and is made very easy
with the Core 95.
It has a high strength to weight ratio and
the parts are top class. The footstraps are good for holding
your feet but if the kite pulls unexpectedly while you are
standing across wind, you can easily pop your feet out instead
of landing on your face; this was my only worry before buying
and it appears that it is not a problem!
When I took it out of the box, the wheels
needed attaching and that was all.
The tyres have a good grip for going upwind.
I would certainly recommend this board to
anyone that would like to start or currently does kite land-boarding.
