Description
MBS have taken the super popular Comp 95,
added a V5 brake kit and beefed it up for freeriding with
9" T2 tires giving it extra ground clearance and more
forgiveness on rougher terrain, making it the ultimate freeride
board.
The MBS Comp 95X comes with Matrix trucks,
the cornerstone truck of mountainboarding and high speed land
kiting, providing on the fly adjustability to find that sweet
spot between maneuverability and stability at higher speeds.
MBS’ V5 brake kit allows you to access
steeper, more difficult terrain, single track trails and makes
it ski resort compliant. This burly board is topped off with
F4 bindings!
The MBS Core 95x is an amazingly versatile
board suitable for all levels of riders from the dedicated
hard-core freestyler to the weekend warrior out to have a
good time.
MBS Comp 95x Deck:
An awesome universal deck that will perform at any level.
Surlyn base provides excellent durability and slidability
while it's Powerlam Composite lay-up s designed focuses on
a smooth and forgiving ride. Perfect for sucking up the bumps.
PowerLam Composite construction is a time
tested construction technique, combined with current composite
technology. Powerlam decks consist of a horizontal laminate
core made from several wood veneers.
Different types of veneers are strategically
placed throughout the deck to yield the optimum performance
required for that type of deck. Fiberglass is then added to
the lay-up to increase the strength to weight ratio. MBS concentrates
fiberglass layers as close to the top and bottom layers as
possible as this is where the bending stresses are at the
highest. Powerlam decks come predrilled for F-series bindings
and MBS grab handles.

MBS truck system. On-the-fly 4mm hex key adjustment dials
the truck suspension to exact tension.

MBS's 9" custom molded tread pattern. Lightweight. Superior
traction. Centre-line contact to maintain speed.
MBS F4 Ratchet Bindings:
MBS have redesigned the internal structure
to improve the comfort of the strap perimeter whilst maintaining
the core rigidity that gives the F4 bindings such amazing
control. Riders will love the new ladder tunnels that trap
excess ladder strap to prevent pant-leg hang-ups and the two-point
ratchet connections that eliminate ratchet swivel for the
most solid binding feel possible. The newly contoured compression-molded
EVA underside provides the perfect blend of grip, comfort,
and control. And if that isn't enough, the look of this binding
alone is worth the upgrade. Using internal mounting T-nuts
to keep the mounting hardware as clean and low profile as
possible.
MBS V5 Brake System:
Great for singletrack, and steep terrain. Riding with a brake
makes learning easier and quicker for beginners and intermediates
but also makes the steepest mountain much easier!
