Even with a small and weak shore break, it's rounded outline will allow for tight turns maintaining contact with the wave at all times. Its perfect rocker gives F-One Fish boards incredible early planning ability and manoeuverability which remains unchanged. This successful combo have helped the Fish become a rider’s favorite for the past three years.

 

Easier during your turns, the Fish’s also gained in stability with a more natural drive, being less technical.Strapless, the feeling is closer to a skimboard.

 

New for 2013 is the addition of a 5’10’’ x 54 cm. Pushing even farther the Fish concept so a bigger rider can also enjoy light wind and small waves. More forgiving, its length and width allows to more easily learn tricks.

 

The F-One Fish has amazing upwind and planning capability, thanks to its width and flat scoop and with its impressive floatability you can use a kite one size smaller than usual and stilll gain steering and direction control.

 

Available in three sizes, these Fish’s offer the same program; oriented toward light wind and small waves. F-One recommend the 5’4’’ if you are under 155 lbs, the 5’6’’ if you are between 155 and 180 lbs; and the 5’10’’ if you are above 180 lbs.

 

 

Construction:

A kiteboard sustains more constraints than a standard surfboard. It endures more pressure, mainly in the upwind stage, in the chops, and during jumps. A sandwiched construction is a must-have for our sport.

 

F-One's research them to bamboo. The result is a light structure, super strong that absorbs those constraints. The extremely dense cellular structure of bamboo surpasses that of oak in stability and elasticity.

 

Bamboo is superior to wood in terms of durability and rigidity. This mighty grass is extremely solid due to high elasticity fibers lined up to the cane on the outer layer of the peel. With regards to tensile strength, bamboo matches up with tree and steel.

 

The use of bamboo is also environmentally responsible. It has an astonishing growth rate: the “giant bamboo” will grow 30cm to 50cm per day to reach 15 to 30 metres. Every year the “mother plant” generates several shoots allowing a full grown “forest” to be harvested after 5 years without reducing the size of the forest.

 

Fin Setup:

F-One use the most advanced fins available, The Future Fins Vector II profile were specifically designed for explosive radical surfing making it great for speed and releasing off the top. The Thruster fin setup will also make the radius of the turns a bit longer and will hold in the turn better.

A great allround thruster board intended for medium sized riders. Its shape is very compact and balanced. This is a great board for use with straps whenever there are waves. Its slightly wider shape design helps to catch some slower waves and still surfs great in the real fast and big waves. This board is perfect for intermediate / medium sized riders.

 

F-One Fish 5'6 (167.5 x 49.5m) Surf Board:

A board for bigger riders or for lighter wind conditions. Its general size and especially it's width is not too big so it still can be used for ripping and snapping, but surely for kitesurfing, bigger and taller guys would appreciate it more.
