High Rocker: High rocker boards are best suited for freestyle and wakestyle manoeuvres or riders looking to ride at slower speeds and still hold lots of power. Stiff Flex: Stiffer flex gives the board better performance and pop and are better suited to freestyle / new school riding. It's direct feel will allow for a more snappy feeling and react quicker to rider input. Flat Bottom Shape: Allows for a superior glide making it easy to get up and riding, especially in light wind. The flat bottom also gives loose and easy carving turns combined with a skatey feel. Wakestyle: Wakestyle boards tend to be stiff allowing them to create pop with very little lift from the kite allowing you to perform unhooked manoeuvres and the ability to ride wake parks and rails with a predictable riding style.

Description

Developed specifically for kiteboarding, the Cabrinha Wake Skate represents a new genre of strapless trick riding.

An easy to ride wakeskate with an ergonomic deck shape and a grippy bottom shape. The rocker provides excellent pop, even when riding in flat water, yet it easily tracks well upwind.

The Wakeskate is made from a horizontal laminated wood core with ABS side walls and an EVA or Grip Tape deck pad.

A low-priced highlight to anyone's quiver, it can be considered a high performance toy or a low performance twin tip.

Made for strapless trick riding in flat water, the Wake Skate will challenge your skills in ways you wouldn't expect.

Nothing is out of the question. Hit kickers and sliders.

The Cabrinha Wakeskate is built with a horizontal laminated wood core.

Complete with either full EVA deck pad or grip tape traction and 2 x 25mm fins.

Paulownia Wood / Maple Wood Core:
Vertically laminated Paulownia stringers produce a high compression / lightweight core. Paulownia has one of the highest strength to weight ratios of all wood species. The result is simple. Bullet proof, with a smooth consistent flex pattern.

Average density: 310kg/m3

Fibreglass Laminate:
A four axis weave of fibreglass that is extremely strong and light resulting in a very lively feel and response.

Durable Bottom Sheet:
A lightweight and tough material. UV and scratch resistance properties make it perfect for Kiteboard production.

ABS Rails:
The ABS sidewall is laminated to the core during the lay-up process. It's designed to increase the strength while ensuring a smooth, durable and consistent ride.

Core Profile:
All of Cabrinha's core are produced with CNC milling. This means that every core is true to their design. Flex, profile and manufacturing consistency are all exact every time.

Design Elements:
Rocker: The rocker is a key element in the overall feel and performance of your board. Cabrinha use four distinct rockers based on the performance targets of the boards.
Flex Pattern: A symmetric pattern provides an identical flex, forward or switch, ideal for all types of riding conditions. The center sections are stiffer to give excellent edge control. Controlled flex in the tips give the boards pop and control in all water conditions.
Board Tech:
Wood: Vertically laminated Paulownia produces a high compression, lightweight core. Paulownia has one of the highest strength to weight ratios of all wood species.The result is simple. Bullet proof, with a smooth, consistent flex pattern. Average Density: 310kg/ m³. Eco-friendly wood core.
EPS: EPS cores are watertight and offer high impact resistance. EPS is combined with a wood laminate and PVC to provide an ultra light durable core. Average Density 20kg/m³
Fibreglass Laminates: Each board has its own unique layup. Cabrinha have tested many different configurations of the laminate to produce the best combination of strength and weight. The cores are profiled to dial in the specific flex for a design. Then the laminate is applied to support the flex and increase strength.
ABS Rails: The ABS sidewall is laminated to the core during the lay-up process. It’s designed to increase the strength while ensuring a smooth, durable and consistent ride. All rails are finished with our custom shaping to provide precise edge control and smooth transition.
Graphic Foil: A light-weight and tough material. It’s UV and scratch resistance properties make it perfect for kite board production.
