Description
The Scrub Quasar 2 Mountain Board is an uprated
version of the original best selling Scrub Quasar mountain
board and offers riders a really affordable, performance mountain
board suitable for downhill freeride use and kiting.
The Scrub Quasar 2 Mountain Board features
extremely robust and lightweight new style Scrub Alloy Channel
Mountain Board Trucks with 3 variable spring positions.
The steering resistance of the board can be
significantly increased by moving the spring positions from
the inside to the outside holes on the board, allowing the
rider to customise the response of the board to suit body
weight and riding style.
The Scrub Alloy Channel Trucks now features the new Trampa
Dampa rubber elastomers located inside the channel truck springs.
The Trampa Dampa elastomers offer much improved spring support
over the old style eggshock elastomers used on previous boards
and help to give a firm and tight ride whilst reducing the
chance of speed wobble.
Trampa Dampa's are available in a range of
stiffness allowing further customisation of the steering resistance
of the board.
At 99cm long, the maple deck is slightly longer
to allow the Scrub Quasar 2 Mountain Board to maintain stability
at higher speeds. Since the Scrub Quasar 2 Mountain Board
is designed for downhill freeride use, 9" tyres have
been fitted as standard.
These allow better performance and higher
speeds to be attained when riding particularly rough terrain.
New and improved Scrub velcro comfort bindings
offer a more secure fit for increased comfort and performance.
Board weight is 8.0kg and as with all Scrub boards, the Scrub
Quasar 2 Mountain Board comes supplied with full tool kit,
instructions and coil leash.

Scrub
Channel Style Truck:
Lightweight channel truck with three spring
positions for adjustment making it easy to tune the truck
to your riding style and eliminate the dreaded wobbles without
playing with washers etc.
The kingpin is encased with bushes where it
meets the truck to prevent wear and ensure smooth operation.
It can basically be used to fit to any deck although you might
need to add a few extra holes.
The Truck comes with springs and eggs already
installed. The fixings and bolts shown in the pictures are
also supplied with the truck.

Great cruising board! Bobby Graeme
I bought this board for a little bit of cruising both on the
beach as well as the long downhills as I am no spring chicken
anymore! But this doesnt mean this board is for oldies! I
have seen guys out on the same board doing some stupid stuff
on the Quasar II board!
Its comfortable! Stable! Easy to learn with and is a board
that will grow with you! I havent changed the settings on
my board yet as it works perfectly straight out of the box!

Had I have known about this board when I first entered this
sport I would have got this board first! Its so easy to use,
great for speed and I can do some fantastic slides and jumps
with the board!
I love this board so much as it also gives
me the option to customise it for the days on the beach and
on the hills. Loads of turn on the downhilling and less for
straight out speed!
