Description
The entry level Scrub Photon Mountain Board
is an excellent short and light all-terrain board particularly
suitable for junior riders, smaller adults or freestyle riding.
Upgraded for 2008, the Scrub Photon Mountain
Board features the new Scrub 12mm axle diameter skate style
mountain board trucks and is fitted with more durable 12mm
channel truck style mountain board bearings.
The use of a 12mm axle offers increased strength
resulting in a board that is stronger whilst still retaining
the light weight benefits of a skate style mountain board
truck assembly.
At 90cm long, the maple deck is extremely
manoeuvrable. 8" diamond thread tyres are fitted as standard,
giving reliable performance in all conditions. New and improved
Scrub velcro comfort bindings offer a more secure fit for
increased comfort and performance.
With a total board weight of only 5.85kg,
the Scrub Photon Mountain Board is the lightest mountain board
in the Scrub range. Use it as a mountain board for ripping
it up on dirt tracks or as a lightweight kite board for use
with a power kite.

Fantastic entry level board! David Watson
I haven't found a review for this board so I just thought
I would say how great this board is! If you are a small or
junior rider or just starting out and are just getting to
grips with downhilling and kiting then this board is it!
The graphics are great - the tyres grip the dirt and the footstraps
are nice and wide giving you the control that you need especially
when you first start out!

Me and my two sons use this board and it works for everyone!
It may be a bit short for me but as a family board that everyone
can use on a budget - you cannot get much better than this!
My sons say the graphics are "Sweet"
which is good enough for me! But on a more personal note -
the footstraps work well - there doesnt seem to be any problems
with my extra weight and is great for cruising on the beach
and down the hills!
The board comes nicely packaged with toolkit
and instructions and was easy to setup.
For anyone wanting a board for the family,
you are just starting out or you dont want to pay the earth
- this is a great board for everyone to enter the sport with!
