For riders who require high performance and durability, the top of the range Scrub Paradox Mountain Board is a fantastic bomb proof mountain board specifically designed to satisfy the demands of downhill freeride warriors and kiteboarders.

 

The Scrub Paradox Mountain Board features completely new style top adjustable lightweight alloy channel trucks with new Trampa Dampa rubber elastomers.

 

The new trucks are extremely robust and offer a huge range of customisation with 3 different modes of adjustment, allowing the rider to customise the response of the board to suit body weight and riding style. 3 variable spring positions allow the steering resistance of the board to be significantly increased by moving the spring positions from the inside to the outside holes on the board.

The Trampa Dampa rubber elastomers located inside the channel truck springs offer much improved spring support over the old style eggshock elastomers used on previous boards and help to give a firm and tight ride whilst reducing the chance of speed wobble.

Trampa Dampa's are available in a range of stiffness, with a harder Trampa Dampa offering increased steering resistance. For on the move fine adjustment, the steering resistance can be increased by increasing the spring compression via the new style top adjuster.

 

A completely revised 97cm long composite deck has been designed to offer optimum performance over rough terrain with excellent 'pop' for freestyle riding. The new high performance Scrub Dynamo Hubs are lighter and stronger than the standard Scrub 5 Spoke Hubs.

Snowboard-style ratchet bindings are supplied as standard and allow rapid adjustment for an easy and secure custom fit. The bindings also feature a new, improved hard wearing build.

 

As with all Scrub boards, the Scrub Paradox Mountain Board comes supplied with full tool kit, instructions and coil leash.

Scrub Channel Style Truck:

Lightweight channel truck with three spring positions for adjustment making it easy to tune the truck to your riding style and eliminate the dreaded wobbles without playing with washers etc.

 

The kingpin is encased with bushes where it meets the truck to prevent wear and ensure smooth operation. It can basically be used to fit to any deck although you might need to add a few extra holes.

 

The Truck comes with springs and eggs already installed. The fixings and bolts shown in the pictures are also supplied with the truck.

Great board for all boarders! Craig Johnson

Looking to upgrade your board with all of the trimmings - get this one! Its loads cheaper than some of the other boards with the same specifications and it does the job just as well!

The alloy trucks make it for me! They look so cool and are lightweight! Tweak this board with the new Trampa Dampas to suit your style and you will have your dream board!

I love the board for straight out speed downhilling and is also great for freestyle on the beach with a kite! The 9" inch tyres get me through the softer sand areas also which is a must when you are going for straight out speed!

Well done Scrub - a high specification board that we can all afford!
