The Profanity is BEST's first board to use the new Vertical Sandwich core where a laminated Paulownia wood core section is bonded to a high density foam base layer. This new construction allows us to blend the light weight and fast rebound of a wood core with the added strength and impact resistance of a foam core.

PVC Core Surround:
Linking the Supremo Wood Core to the Deep-section ABS rail, our new PVC Core Surround allows us to taper and shape the tips of your board to provide the perfect combination of easy carving flex and low swing weight; ensuring that your Profanity is as agile on the water as it is above it.

Twin Channel Tips:
A quick planing single to double concave bottom shape flows into a twin-channel tip, providing added lift for reduced drag and making the board easier to ride in lighter conditions. Our twin-channel also provides added straight line grip allowing you ride smaller fins or even finless for hitting kickers and sliders.

Tri-Axial Layup:
The Profanity uses multiple weight biaxial and uni-directional cloth in a ‘0 -45 +45’ layup to provide precise control of board flex, ensuring a lively feel and swift reaction to rider input. Biax cloth provides a stable foundation and resistance to torsional flex, while an additional lightweight uni-directional laminate provides control of tip-to-tip flex allowing us to dial in the perfect combination of flex for every board size and every rider weight.
