Description

As a dedicated 5-line kite, the Airush Razor draws C-kite enthusiasts, freestyle fanatics, and wave purists with its high-end performance. The Razor has left its mark on the World Tour, with a World Championship title to its name, and has become the benchmark from which all other C-kites are judged.

 

Developed with the help of the Airush pro freestyle team members, Gisela Pulido and Alex Pastor, the 2012 Razor captures traditional C-kite power delivery in a high-performance, new school, 5 line C-kite. This year, the Razor exceeds expectations as the kite created and chosen by champions, delivering the highest level of performance within the reach of intermediate riders.

 

The Airush Razor still uses a fast and simple One Pump System for inflation and it is easy to set up with the five line configuration, using the fifth line as a dedicated safety line.

 

The Airush Razor performs outstanding when unhooked and keeps the rider in complete control. It has a direct bar feel and a constant power delivery and allows the rider to perform spectacular tricks without effort.

 

Even as a powerful C-kite, the Razor has good depower and relaunch abilities. It is easy to operate and runs great in a wide range of wind conditions.

 

Using a five strut configuration, this assures excellent turning speed and improves the aerodynamic profile while keeping the kite steady in high winds.

Specs

Airframe Kite Technology:
AFT distributes the load off all stitch lines on all main panels of the canopy area on impact during a crash, while the outer frame features gradient load wingtips.

 

 

 

 

 

Increased Diameter Tubing:
Increased wall thickness and oversized diameter of the tubing eliminates tube kink and reduces stress on your pump which infiltrates a quick and easy inflation.

 

 

 

 

 

Gradient Load Wingtips:
Gradient Load wingtips integrate progressive density cloth in the high load areas radiating from the attachment points.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Four-Piece Struts:
The new 4-piece strut has add a double folded straight stitch seam aligned with a 20mm wide webbing strip to reduce points of wearing. This increases durability and rigidness of the struts in all Airush kites.

 

 

 

 

Unity Strut Connection
