Lighter, stronger, faster. ORANGE is an AIRTIME kite innovation. Let kite designers build the kites, let the bladder experts improve the bladders.
All Airtime strut bladders used with the U-STICK bladder system are provided without valves. All strut bladders have a reinforced head to strengthen the bladder and are oversized in diameter so that they never fully expand inside the sewn sleeve of the kite.
Lighter Kite:
Airtime ORANGE strut bladders are between 35%-50% lighter
than stock bladders. Reduce the weight of the average 14m,

strut bow kite, by
almost an entire pound (454 grams).
The strut bladder blanks are made of a single piece of high quality american made poly folded in half and welded on one side only. All bladders are oversized in diameter so that they never fully expand inside the sewn sleeve of the kite. This eliminates any need for the bladder to stretch allowing for longer life.
All bladder blanks are pre-talced on the inside to aid in installation and simplify their use.
Stronger Kite:
Airtime ORANGE bladders were designed to
be strong. Airtime redesigned the very material that bladders
are
made
from to make them
resistant to damage from twists, improper installs, and unsupported
bladder ends. ORANGE bladders are stronger than any other
bladder ever offered for kites. If you've ever had a blown
bladder tip ruin a good session you'll love ORANGE.
Faster Kite:
Take weight off your kite and your bound to feel a difference. The material is not only about half the weight of traditional bladder material, but is much stiffer. Installing these bladders into your existing kite, not only makes it become much lighter, but the tubes also become much stiffer and no longer require as much air pressure to achieve the rigidity required by most modern kites. Put in simply - it makes your kite faster through the air!

Airtime Strut Bladder Measurements:
How to
measure:
Strut bladders are measured from tip to tail along the bottom seam as illustrated
above. If you kite is missing the strut bladder that needs replacing or if
the bladder is still in the kite you can easily measure the kite itself as
explained below.
Strut
bladders:
Open the end of the bladder sleeve and measure from the very
end of the strut to the very front of the strut where it
attaches to the leading edge bladder sleeve. Measure along
the bottom seam, this is the seam or fold that faces you
when the kite is in the air flying or when it's on its
back ready to be inflated.
Choose a strut bladder that measures the same length or longer than the measurement that you came up with. If you are at all unsure of your measurement, round up to the next size offered. An oversized bladder works, an undersized bladder will not work.

Preaching oversized:
Remember that you can always use an oversized bladder in
a smaller application. When traveling we recommend taking
a leading edge bladder that is long enough to fit your
largest kite. Should you need to use the bladder in a smaller
kite you can invert the bladder ends back inside the bladder
until it is the desired length. Inverting up to 30 inches
in the tail is perfectly reasonable if you
don't have access
to a bladder that is the correct length.
