Really nice pair of gloves! Ed Wright

These are a really nice pair of gloves, loads of protection but they are nice and thin also which still allows me to get a good grip on my flying handles. They cut out the cold too!

I’ve always been a bit concerned about wearing gloves whilst I kite especially when riding unhooked, however since using the Six Six One Comp Gloves, I have changed my opinion.

 

These gloves are a real snug fit and offer astonishing grip even when fully powered and unhooked. I guess they feel a bit like riding gloveless only with the extra comfort and protection as they don’t get in the way or stop the movement in your hands or fingers.

 

The Six Six One Comp gloves provide brilliant protection against all surfaces whether you ride grass, sand or even tarmac in my case. These gloves will protect your hand against most scraps and become a barrier between your hands and the roughness of any bar or handles. Despite being slim, these gloves provide good warmth but also have good ventilation to stop your hands from overheating.

 

The Build quality on these is also fairly good! I’ve crashed a few times on tarmac so far and there keeping up nicely, so I’m pretty chuffed about that.

 

In conclusion, I rate these gloves a lot, as there is not much more I could ask for in a glove. They are comfy and manoeuverable with plenty of protection and grip. If you’re planning on flying a lot in cold and tough conditions, then I’d recommend these to anyone.
