The Hadlow signature model has been designed for Aaron’s special requirement. A 100% performance and comfort harness! It features an extreme 3D shaped load distribution plates and 3D moulded floating pillow to follow the movement of his body.

 

For comfort Prolimit have intergrated their neoprene soft edges and Dual Foam System (DFS). Prolimit's stump nose spreader bar is mounted on the new Integrated slide-in bar pad system. For Hadlow's special tricks - Prolimit have HPL stainless steel attachment points with new PULL release and an easy to grab integrated grab handle.

 

Performance: High to medium back support without the stiff feeling of a moulded harness.

 

Extreme 3D shaped load distribution plates, 3D moulded floating pillow, neoprene soft edges. Dual foam system (DFS) and of course a 'stump nose' kite spreader bar.

Developed together with Aaron Hadlow - the Pro Limit team have a new slick looking and perfectly working bar pad which integrates perfectly with this type of harness.

 

Dual Foam System:
Developed in conjunction with Prolimit's 3D Shaping, the dual foam system focuses on further distributing any pressure evenly over the harness area. Comprising of two layers of dual density foam, the inner layer of medium density foam forms to the bodies' specific contour, while the higher density outside layer absorbs the primary load from the reinforcing plate. This system means we can reduce the thickness of our reinforcing plate, which once again increases mobility.

 

Floating Pillow:
Prolimit introduces SHAPE & TECHNOLOGY systems. The internal 3D shaped board is on the exterior of the harness leaving the inner pillow supporting for a 100% your back. The Floating pillow will adjust it's height automatically to your back.

 

Integrated Bar Pad:
The downhold loops on the harness are sewn on to a large plate which prevents the bar from riding up onto your ribs and locks the bar in it's place still being one with the harness. The smart solution for kiteboarders!

 

Neoprene Soft Edge:
To prevent edge tension, rash and discomfort when using a waist harness, we developed the neoprene soft edge. The inside and outside skin of the harness feature a lycra covered neoprene edge that flexes easily and covers the traditionally abrasive edge of the harness.

 

Pin Release Spreader:
Throughout the years - Pro Limit'sPin Release Spreader has established itself as the easiet to use and most robust Quick Release system on the market today. All stainless steel components make it “bombproof” and engaging and releasing the spreader takes a push or a pull, its really that simple. Completely patented and the best working QR system.

Kidney Belt:
All Pro Limits waist harnesses are equipped with a Kidney neoprene belt. Pro Limit's stickflex body control belt is designed specially for kiteboarders who want a tighter fit, less movement and greater control. It is well known in various other sports that a kidney belt supports your kidney's, making you less tired and keeps you healthy.

 

The wide neoprene belt is specially designed using a unique combination of neoprene and ski material for a perfect fit and additional warmth.

Shape: The human body is not geometrical and straight. It has complex curves. The current fashion in kiting is molded harnesses; but molded harnesses are not made with seam shaping, they are flat 2 dimensional moldings!

 

For 2010 Prolimit have brought more shaping into our harness than ever thought possible. This decreases edge tension in waist harnesses and ensures a body hugging fit that keeps your harness from riding up.

 

Technology: You can see clearly how Prolimit shape the harness and its inner structure. All the active forces are absorbed and distributed by the reinforced plates on the outside of the harness.

The inner shape provides the body contact and cushions the body from the forces carried by the outside skin and structure. The layered construction is a world standard, but the shaping is unique to Prolimit.

	3D Moulded Pillow: Combined with our 3D shaped load distribution plates the 3D moulded floating pillow supports the lower back providing a snug and comfortable fit.   3D moulded and disconnected from the internal foam layers and load distribution plates gives the best foam memory and perfect support and fit.
	Neoprene Soft Edges: All of our harnesses are designed with neoprene soft edges to avoid abrasion that leads to rash.   The soft edges also allow flex in vulnerable areas like the ribs and give more freedom of movement.
	DFS (Dual Foam System): Prolimt's Dual Foam System has taken another step forward. For years they have been building harnesses with a dual aspect to the application of the foam padding.   Prolimit wanted to have a strong supporting outside shell with a comfortable inner lining which is pliable and can conform to individual body shapes. This is achieved with a dual density laminated foam layer. Prolimit have now gone one step further. Which carry the dynamic loads in the harness.
	Neoprene Waist Belt: Prolimit waist harnesses are equipped with a neoprene waist belt. Using a lined neoprene belt whichallows for rotation needed in kiteboarding during high torque activities (toeside riding etc.)   Providing anatomic support for the kidneys. This is done in all sports where high G manoevures and constant shaking can damage the kidneys. There is additional padding provided by the neoprene layers and additional thermal protection.
	Spreader Bars: Stump nose bar for kiteboarding. The patented quick release pin system used on all Prolimit bars. Unique, quick release, easy and durable.
	MLP: The new Prolimit MLP bar system features a multiple load point system that spreads the forces evenly through the harness, creating a more comfortable fit and a more stable bar position.   The MLP system works effectively to keep the spreader from twisting and riding up. It also allows you to adjust the height of the spreader bar on seat harnesses where it is used with wide strap attachment positions.
	Integrated Bar Pad: Most kitewaist harnesses feature their own design-specific barpads, unique to the models.
	Integrated Grab Handle: Featuring a molded rubber grabhandle with webbing reinforcing for safety.   Handle Pass Leash Connection Point: The points for attaching the handle pass leash or rope are extra reinforced stainless steel D-rings. 38mm oversized d-rings on waist harnesses.   Removeable Handlepass Quick Release Unit: Some high end Kite waist harnesses feature a removable quick release unit on the 38mm D-ring for extra safety. This unit can be removed and just the rope with tubing can be used.

I have been riding the Hadlow Pro harness for the last 2 years now! Every year Prolimit come up with new innovative designs that make there harness’s more comfortable, less complexed and stronger than ever!

This year’s harness offers super comfort - especially for all those people who hate the feeling of moulded edges that most other harnesses offer.

 

This harness has very soft neoprene edges, which fits tightly but offer much more movement without the harness digging into your ribs or hips.

The biggest improvement for the harness has been its very simple design, much easier than any other designs. To put this harness on all you need to do is set it up to the correct set up once and then use the release system on the left hand side.

I have been using this harness for a good few months now, over some of the craziest terrain such as tarmac, dried lakes and pebbles. The back of the harness never deteriorates even when sliding on it.

The handle at the back is perfect for attaching a handlepass leash to. I’m yet to destroy one on any of my Prolimit harness because it has been designed specifically for the job.

Overall- I have never ridden a harness like this! I took me years to find the right harness and since having the Prolimit Aaron Hadlow Signature Pro waist harness, I’ve never looked back and each year they get better and better.
